NEWS AT 10!

A VERY VAPORS ROCKUMENTARY

The Vapors scored an international hit with "Turning Japanese" in 1980. After 2 albums & tours they disappeared. But fans like filmmaker & musician Reade Mitchell kept the band alive playing their music on the radio, at live shows & on mixtapes & CDs. Their fans kept waiting for 35 years. In 2016 The Vapors reunited. In October 2018, The Vapors played the U.S. 3 sold out nights at The Mercury Lounge in New York City. Reade play "Waiting For The Weekend", his favourite Vapors song, with the band at soundcheck. "Waiting For The Weekend" story of the fans, the band, the song, the waiting & the weekend that brought them all together.
